Often times, clients ask me how to disable Cortana and Bing search in the Win10 start menu. Some are concerned with privacy, most just don’t want the features or extra stuff to sift through.
Well, I get it. I made a simple downloadable registry tweak to do just that! As of this writing, this registry tweak has been tested to work with build 1909. It will likely work fine with earlier builds and moving forward.
Specifically were disabling/changing:
Cortana – Disabled
Web Search – Disabled
Bing Search -Disabled
Changing “Cortana Consent” to NOPE.
